Meg & Ben – two incredibly heartfelt and awesome people that we are fortunate to know and photograph. From day one these two have been two of the most inspiring people you could ever talk to. It’s a wonderful thing to work with
clients friends who go out of their way to be encouraging, trusting and excited. These images are images of Ben and Meg. Of love, and of two great people committing to eachother.
A beautiful wedding can be identified in the details, the care and attention to the smallest flower, chalkboard, ribbon, candle – anything and everything.
Ben and Meg not only had these details covered but they also invested in the emotional details of love letters, getting married on the family land, taking time for a first glance to enjoy each other’s presence in every way possible on their wedding day.
A beautiful wedding can be remembered if told as a story through wonderful story-telling wedding photography, rather than simply a set of re-hashed or repeated images. We believe in honest and authentic, unique imagery for our couples.
These images of Meg and her mom are story – pure and simple. Story in an image is powerful, and can hold more words than our frail and forgetful minds can ever hope to hold.
The little things in a day prove to matter much in the years to come, and I believe in capturing all of them.
Even men with guns 🙂
Especially “first looks”. Meg & Ben quietly shared a few words and thoughts for each-other ahead of time – back to back before seeing each-other for the first time. It was sweet and real.
Meg – wow. I love non-traditional portraits of people.
Color is everything in an image set, and at Making the Moment, we post produce every single image in-house, ourselves. You’d be surprised how often wedding photographers outsource their color and correction work. It yields a completely different set of imagery than what a fully finished artist can create.
What a sweet feel their wedding reception had – it was at the Muhlhauser Barn.
Can you believe the mustache on that kid? Time to shave son.
It’s these moments I live and photograph for. Their love is real and emotes from the image.
Congratulations guys, it was a joy to be your photographer!
